This home is such a gem!! Every detail was thoughtfully done, from the beautiful décor to the many little touches that clearly show how much care and intention went into creating a space for families to truly enjoy. The home felt welcoming, comfortable, and special the moment we arrived. My recent stay in Calgary was an absolute winner, thanks in part to the great location and excellent hospitality. From the moment of booking until my departure, the communication was super fast, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Even when we encountered a minor inconvenience – the TV remote control turned out to be defective – David immediately took action. In no time, he was ready to solve the problem, and the next day there was a brand new remote control! You rarely see this kind of proactive and efficient service. In addition to this quick problem solving, David also showed great flexibility with arrival and departure times, which greatly facilitated my travel planning. It was clear that he proactively thinks along with guests and does everything to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Perfect for families with children through the garden, the toys present and even a beamer for a movie. Metro, shopping, restaurants and park within walking distance.

Small accommodation perfect for 2 people. All the necessary amenities for a short stay were there. Intimate courtyard with a huge fireplace. Well located accommodation, not far from everything by car. The hosts are very kind, respond super quickly to our questions and gave several recommendations both tourist and culinary. I recommend it!

"We were so fortunate that David’s place was available to fill in for our time in Jasper since that was cancelled by the wildfire. David was super helpful with details needed since we were coming in our campervan. Every message I sent him before and during our stay was answered quickly and with great info and a welcoming tone. He helped us find things to do that we really enjoyed. The house is ideal for families or a small group of adults. It’s a few hundred feet from the train station (and Calgary’s public transportation allows dogs!). There are tons of restaurants, stores, and parks in walking distance of the house in the Kensington neighborhood. That made it so easy to have our dog with us. We appreciated all the local products provided. Everything in the house is very functional and made it easy to prepare a couple meals. The house is peaceful and welcoming. We slept soundly each night. We really enjoyed Calgary and would happily stay at David’s place again!"

"David was very responsive to all my questions before, leading up to check-in, and during our stay. Additionally, we loved all of the local products (ie. soaps, toiletries, teas & coffee) that they used. We loved that they provided very detailed instructions for check-in (ie. Recommending us to use Google Maps as opposed to Apple Maps to easily be directed to the entrance/parking). We went to the recommended coffee shop which was a highlight during our stay. Delicious coffee! We’ll definitely stop there again next time we’re in Calgary. We also definitely appreciated the easy check-out as it gave us a peace of mind as we left early to leave for our flight. The location was quiet, cozy, and private. Perfect for relaxing after long days exploring the city."

"I have used Airbnb in many cities and countries. This by far is the best I have stayed. It has everything you need. Enough space for a bigger group and family. I could say alot of good things with this listing. I highly recommend this place if you are in Calgary. The host communicated very early on and was very accommodating. I also would like to commend the good duvet they use for all the beds. I love the many plants that this house have. It added to the calmness of the ambiance. I also would like to appreciate the products they use in the house— from the laundry soap, dishwashing detergent, to the shampoo and body wash they provide - all environment friendly and supports our own Canadian products. The areas are well-thought of. A place where children can play and they even have their own garden and deck. It was beyond what we were expecting. It is also worth your money. I definitely would book this place again."

"Stayed one night David's place. Simply put, David’s place is fantastic, I really enjoyed my stay there. Shame it was all too brief (only one night) this was due to me arriving into town that day from Vancouver and embarking on a 10 day road trip the following morning. But trust me this place is more than just a crash pad. The place is great, Ideally located for exploring the wonderful neighbourhood of Kensington/Sunnyside. Close to the river and peace bridge. The basement apartment was a decent size, cosy, very comfortable and extremely clean. Looked cool too of course. Loved it, what else is there to say. Oh.. the host David, what a legend. Check this. He even offered to keep my car registered for when I return to the area on the 9th staying at a different air bnb in the same area so that I can park on the street for free as the other air bnb doesn’t have free parking. David, you sorted me right out, I owe you a beer for sure."
